First of all I could like to apologise for the lack of blog posts this year. I have been extremely busy and my blog took a back seat.
But I have some very exciting news to share, as of Monday (2 sleeps) I’m off to America!
I have a job as a Unit Leader with USA Summer Camp / Camp Leaders. Working at a camp in New Mexico. With the plan to travel coast to coast across America after the summer camp end.
I’m going to keep notes and blog on my return to the UK near in the end of the year. I want to share my whole experience from application with you.
Thought I would share this now – my one minute showcase video application!
I’ll be updated Twitter & Instagram when Wifi allows, so follow me for updates during my trip!
It is December now which means we can officially all get excited for Christmas (November is just too early!)
Christmas advent candles have been a tradition in my family for years.
Priced at £2.99. They can be a little difficult to pick up but try quirky gift shops & garden centers.
What are your Christmas traditions?
I found these amazing new shoes online at boohoo.com. They are copy versions of the Jeffery Campbell night walks.
At the bargain price of £25.
I have worn the shoes around the house and found they were really comfortable to wear!
However for me, they are just way to high!
What’s the highest heels you have ever worn?
Every three minutes, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer and every 13 minutes, a woman dies from the disease, according to http://www.komen.org
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month – a charity I strongly support. Buying pink can be an easy way to show your support for the cause.
Put your breast foot forward with these limited edition UGG classics!
The specially-designed Classic Short in Raspberry Rose and Chestnut and the Ansley in Baby Pink are available exclusively at UGGaustralia.co.uk during October. Both styles feature an embroidered pink ribbon!
I love my UGGS and spend most of winter in them. They are super comfy and go with all casual outfits. Definitely worth spending the cash, if you take care of them they can last for years.
Hoping to get a new pair this year – will keep you updated…
For those of you that live in the Kent area, you might know a new Primark store has opened in Thanet @ Westwood Cross.
Me being such a big Primark fan decided I had to check it out! Check out a few of the new bits I picked up.
Blossom Pink oversized Jumper – this jumper is very oversized and great for autumn/winter. Would look great with jeans/leggings for a casual day-to-day look. (£12)
Oatmeal Dress – I saw this dress and loved it! It would look great with thick tights and some ankle boots for a day look. For the eve I would team it with heels. This dress is also perfect for layering. Worn with a long sleeved black top under for some extra warmth! They also sell this dress in black. (£14)
Necklace – I am loving the chunky necklaces at the moment and when I saw this one I had to have it. These necklaces look great worn with basics – just gives a plain outfit an update. (£4)
Hi my name is Katie, I’m 21 years old and live in Kent. I am a fully trained make-up artist and beauty therapist with a love for high street fashion.
I have decided to start blogging about fashion and beauty products. Starting a blog is on my life bucket list so here goes…
I love mixing high street & designer (when I can afford it!). A chunky Primark knit with my DVB jeans would be a perfect example.
Hope you enjoy my blog & please feel free to comment on my post and tweet me @KatieGuilding I would love to hear from you!
